Snow has tapered off to flurries. However, some patchy fog is
still possible overnight, and may reduce the visibility to less
than a mile at times.

TONIGHT...

* TIMING...Moderate snow will continue periodically through this
evening.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 to 10 inches.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...North 10 to 20 mph. Visibilities will be
  reduced to one mile or less at times in snow.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be hazardous due to snow covered roads
  and low visibilities. Those planning outdoor recreation in the
  Snowy mountains should be prepared for heavy snow and low
  visibilities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel...keep an extra flashlight...food...
and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

TONIGHT...

* TIMING...Moderate snow will continue at times through this
evening.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 to 8 inches below 7500 feet in
  northern Carbon with 8 to 14 inches above 7500 feet.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...North to northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with
  higher gusts. Visibilities will be reduced to one half mile or
  less at times in snow and blowing snow.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be extremely hazardous due to snow
  covered roads and low visibilities.
