...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM MST /6 PM CST/ TUESDAY
TO 8 AM MST /9 AM CST/ WEDNESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GOODLAND HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND COLD WIND CHILLS ...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS WIND CHILL
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT TUESDAY NIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* TIMING/DURATION...SNOW WILL BEGIN THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE
  THROUGH TUESDAY. WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES WILL BE AROUND 15 BELOW
  ZERO TONIGHT AND TUESDAY. WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES WILL APPROACH
  20 BELOW ZERO TUESDAY NIGHT.

* SNOW/ICE ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...NORTH WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WILL PRODUCE AREAS
  OF BLOWING SNOW. VISIBILITIES WILL BE AROUND ONE MILE IN THE
  SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

* OTHER IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SLICK AND SNOWPACKED TONIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE
TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED
VISIBILITIES...AND USE EXTRA CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO CREATE DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS OF MINUS 15 TO MINUS
25 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. FROST BITE CAN OCCUR IN LESS THAN
30 MINUTES...AND HYPOTHERMIA MAY OCCUR IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT
TAKEN.  MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES IF YOU VENTURE
OUTDOORS.
