...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW INTO THIS EVENING...

.SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVER PARTS OF CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN AS A WINTER STORM SYSTEM TRACKS OVER ILLINOIS TODAY.
THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN...WHERE LAKE
ENHANCEMENT WILL OCCUR. ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES CAN BE
EXPECTED SOUTH OF A LINE FROM WISCONSIN RAPIDS TO KEWAUNEE...WITH
4 TO 7 INCHES IN MANITOWOC AND SOUTHERN KEWAUNEE COUNTIES DUE TO
LAKE EFFECT. STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS WILL PRODUCE CONSIDERABLE
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW OF THE SNOW IN THE FOX VALLEY AND
LAKESHORE AREAS. NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG THE
LAKE MICHIGAN SHORELINE IN MANITOWOC COUNTY.

  MICHIGAN SHORELINE...THROUGH THIS EVENING. NORTHEAST WINDS
  GUSTING TO 30 TO 40 MPH WILL PRODUCE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING OF THE NEW SNOWFALL...AND MAY RESULT IN NEAR-BLIZZARD
  CONDITIONS AT TIMES.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED INLAND...WITH 5
  TO 7 INCHES NEAR THE LAKESHORE.

* THE COMBINATION OF FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW MAY PRODUCE LOCAL
  WHITEOUT CONDITIONS ALONG THE LAKE MICHIGAN SHORELINE...
  INCLUDING INTERSTATE 43. ROADS WILL BE SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.
  TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL BE HAZARDOUS.
