  may continue into the afternoon.

* WHERE...Avery, Yancey, and Mitchell Counties.

* WHEN...The Winter Weather Advisory for Black Ice continues
  until 2 PM EST this afternoon, and patchy black ice will
  continue beyond that.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Black ice conditions will create very
  slippery roadways today. Patchy black ice will likely continue
  tonight as well.

A Winter Weather Advisory for Black Ice means that refreezing of
roads will occur...resulting in the development of widespread
black ice. Be prepared for very slippery roadways. Some roads that
appear clear may be covered by a thin layer of ice.
