...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
2 PM PDT FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for Snow...which is in effect from 11 PM this
evening to 2 PM PDT Friday.

* Snow accumulations...5 to 8 inches.

* Elevation...Generally above 5500 feet.

* Timing...Snow will begin around 5 pm, but the heaviest
  accumulations will occur between 11 pm and 11 am before
  tapering off to snow showers.

* Locations include...Mt. Ashland Ski Road, and the Cascades
  north of the Lake of the Woods.

* Impacts...Heavy wet snow will make travel difficult for
  vehicles. Be prepared for snow covered roads.

* Timing...Snow will begin around 11 pm, but the heaviest
  accumulations will occur between 4 am and 11 am before tapering
  off to snow showers.

* Locations include...Highway 97 north of Chiloquin, including
  Spring Creek grade.

* Impacts...Heavy wet snow will make travel difficult for
  vehicles. Be prepared for snow covered roads.
