THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM PST
SATURDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW IS
  EXPECTED THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
  POSSIBLE OVER THE HIGHER PEAKS AND RIDGES.

* TIMING: PERIODS OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
  EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: ELEVATIONS AT AND ABOVE 4500 FEET IN THE
  CASCADES AND SISKIYOUS...INCLUDING MT ASHLAND SKI ROAD...
  HIGHWAY 140 NEAR LAKE OF THE WOODS...DEAD INDIAN MEMORIAL
  ROAD...AND HIGHWAYS 62...230...AND 138 NEAR CRATER LAKE AND
  DIAMOND LAKE.

* IMPACTS: ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW PACKED AND SLIPPERY...AND
  DAYTIME SNOWMELT WILL REFREEZE...PRODUCING ICE COVERED ROADS.
  FALLING SNOW WILL ALSO REDUCE VISIBILITIES...RESULTING IN
  DIFFICULT TRAVEL ON AREA ROADS.
