...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH
SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a Winter Storm
Watch, which is in effect from Friday evening through Saturday
afternoon.

* LOCATION...Pikes Peak, Teller county, Rampart Range and northern
  El Paso county.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...A storm system is expected to bring snow,
  heavy at times to the area from Friday evening through Saturday
  afternoon.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...there is the potential for 7 to 12 inches in
  northern El Paso county, and 8 to 12 inches in Teller county,
  with 12 to 20 inches over Pikes Peak.

* WIND...north to northeast 10-20 mph Friday night, 15 to 30 mph
  on Saturday.

* IMPACT...Snow covered roads will likely create hazardous travel
  Friday night into Saturday. Heavy wet snow may accumulate on
  trees and produce scattered power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
