The Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of north central Texas, including the following areas, Bell, Bosque, Comanche, Cooke, Coryell, Denton, Eastland, Erath, Hamilton, Hill, Hood, Jack, Johnson, Lampasas, McLennan, Mills, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Stephens, Tarrant, Wise and Young. The threat for additional rainfall has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being cancelled. Ongoing flooding from recent heavy rainfall overnight will continue through the day. In northeast Texas, Anderson, Delta, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Leon, Rains and Van Zandt. In south central Texas, Milam and Robertson. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Moderate rainfall continues with additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch possible through late this morning. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
