The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Hamilton County in central Texas...
  Mills County in central Texas...

* Until 200 AM CDT.

* At 944 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is
  1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3
  inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
  begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Goldthwaite, Evant, Mullin, Ridge, Democrat, Caradan, Bozar,
  Center City, Pecan Wells, Priddy, Indian Gap, Star, Shive and
  Regency.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dangerous flash flooding is occurring or is imminent. Do not attempt
to travel unless you are fleeing flood waters. If you are in an area
subject to flooding, move to higher ground now.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
