The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Jack County in north central Texas...
  Eastern Palo Pinto County in north central Texas...
  Parker County in north central Texas...
  Southern Wise County in north central Texas...

* Until 500 AM CDT.

* At 255 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1-1.5 inches of rain
  per hour are falling within the warning area. Flash flooding is
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Decatur, Bridgeport, Briar, Pecan
  Acres, Reno, Springtown, Brock, Hudson Oaks, Rhome, New Fairview,
  Aurora, Boyd, Graford, Poolville, Paradise, Cool, Lake Mineral
  Wells and Lake Weatherford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
