The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Erath County in north central Texas...
  Hood County in north central Texas...

* Until 215 PM CDT.

* At 1205 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall
  amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is already
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Stephenville, Granbury, Pecan Plantation, Lipan, Bluff Dale,
  Morgan Mill, Oak Trail Shores, Squaw Creek Reservoir, Huckabay,
  DeCordova, Cresson, Tolar, Stockton Bend, Waples, Mambrino,
  Paluxy, Patillo, Lake Granbury, Selden and Acton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
