THE RED RIVER COUNTIES AND DOWN INTO THE MCKINNEY TO SULPHUR
SPRINGS AREAS...WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON AS THE
ACTIVITY MOVES EAST TO SOUTHEAST. SOME ACTIVITY AROUND MCKINNEY
WILL DEVELOP WESTWARD INTO NORTHERN PARKER COUNTY...AND SOME WILL
ALSO SPREAD INTO THE DFW METROPLEX LATER THIS AFTERNOON. BRIEF
HEAVY RAIN...CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY WINDS WILL BE
POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS. IF THUNDER IS HEARD OR
LIGHTNING SEEN...MOVE INDOORS FOR SAFETY.

OTHERWISE...IT WILL BE WARM AND HUMID WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE
MID 70S WHERE IT IS RAINING...AND IN THE MID 80S TO LOWER 90S
ELSEWHERE. AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES WILL PEAK IN THE MID 90S TO
AROUND 100 MID TO LATE AFTERNOON. SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH
CLOUDY SKIES PREVAILING ALONG THE RED RIVER AND NORTHEAST
COUNTIES.
