CONTINUE TO DEVELOP GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF A JACKSBORO TO
DENTON TO GREENVILLE LINE THROUGH NOON. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE THROUGH NOON GENERALLY SOUTH
OF A BRECKENRIDGE TO WACO TO ATHENS LINE. THIS ACTIVITY WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE TO THE NORTH AND NORTHEAST AT AROUND 25 TO 30
MPH.

THIS AFTERNOON...MORE NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH AND CENTRAL TEXAS AS AN
UPPER LEVEL LOW MOVES NORTHWARD ACROSS THE RIO GRANDE RIVER
VALLEY. A FEW STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE...GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF A GOLDTHWAITE TO WACO TO
CENTERVILLE LINE. THE MAIN HAZARDS WITH THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN...SMALL
HAIL AND BRIEF GUSTY WINDS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE GENERALLY
EXPECTED TO BE ON THE ORDER OF ONE QUARTER TO HALF AN INCH. HIGHER
RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER AND SLOWER MOVING
STORMS.

OTHERWISE...MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH AREAS OF PATCHY DRIZZLE AND
FOG WILL PREVAIL. WINDS WILL REMAIN OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST AT AROUND 10
TO 15 MPH WITH TEMPERATURES REMAINING STEADY WITH READINGS IN THE
50S AND 60S.
