.DISCUSSION...Above normal temperatures will prevail through the
week with triple-digit temperatures expected across the Northern
Ranchlands and Mid/Upper RGV Tuesday through Thursday. In
combination with the humidity, heat index values will rise above
110 degrees for portions of the region beginning on Tuesday.
Afternoon relative humidity remain above 40 percent for the entire
region today and Tuesday, but will begin to fall below 30 percent
beginning Wednesday afternoon across the far western zones. A
cold front will arrive on Friday, bringing temperatures closer to
seasonal normals. Low rain chances return this weekend.
