Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern Wisconsin
National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
414 AM CDT Tue Apr 16 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Highs today will reach the low to upper 60s with winds becoming
increasingly breezy from the east to southeast through the day.
Winds by the mid to late afternoon will likely be gusting close
to 45 mph for a few hours. Mixing is not expected to be very high
today (1000-2000 feet). Additionally rain is not expected until
the late afternoon or early evening for much of the area. Thus
minimum relative humidities will be able to fall as low as 30
percent for areas further north. As you go further south dewpoints
are expected to increase so that RHs will probably only fall to
around 40 percent. Wednesday is looking a bit drier but some storm
are still expected in the morning with scattered to isolated
showers the rest of the day. Highs will reach the low to mid 60s
with breezy west to southwest winds and fairly high minimum
relative humidities.
