THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HASTINGS HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  SOUTHWESTERN DAWSON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

* UNTIL 915 AM CDT TUESDAY

* AT 732 AM CDT...MINOR FLOODING WAS ONGOING ALONG THE PLATTE RIVER
  IN PARTS OF DAWSON COUNTY. RIVER LEVELS WERE SLOWLY DECREASING AND
  WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY DECREASE THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. THE PLATTE
  RIVER AT BRADY WAS AT 7.8 FEET SUNDAY MORNING...WHICH WAS STILL
  ABOVE MINOR FLOOD STAGE...WHICH IS 7.5 FEET. AT COZAD...THE PLATTE
  RIVER WAS ACTUALLY BELOW FLOOD AT 5.9 FEET...AND WAS A FOOT BELOW
  THE RECENT CREST LAST MONDAY THE 22ND.

MINOR LOWLAND FLOODING WILL CONTINUE IN SOME AREAS ALONG THE RIVER
THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS...BUT THE TREND WILL BE A CONTINUED SLOW
DECREASE IN WATER LEVELS. THIS FLOOD ADVISORY INCLUDES AREAS
DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO THE PLATTE RIVER OVER MUCH OF DAWSON COUNTY...
WEST OF LEXINGTON.

REMEMBER...IF YOU DO RUN ACROSS A WATER COVERED ROAD... TURN AROUND
