The Flood Warning continues for
  The Platte River Near Cozad.
* At  6:00 AM Friday the stage was 6.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to rise above flood stage again
  and crest around 6.6 feet late Saturday night. While the river
  may drop a bit after crest...it is expected to remain near the
  6.5 feet flood stage into next week. For reference...the crest
  earlier this month was 6.7 feet. It is important to remember
  this forecast is  based on water which is already in the Platte
  River basin. Changes to the forecast water level will be
  possible should substantial rainfall be realized across
  the basin through south central or western Nebraska at
  anytime this week or next.
* At 6.5 feet...Minor lowland flooding occurs as both banks overflow.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Platte River Near Kearney.
* At  9:15 AM Friday the stage was 6.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to begin a slow rise and
  crest again around 6.7 feet late Sunday and Monday. This
  crest would be slightly below the crest on May 22 of
  7 feet. The river will remain above flood stage for
  several days. It is important to remember this forecast is
  based on water which is already in the Platte
  River basin. Changes to the forecast water level will be
  possible should substantial rainfall be realized across
  the basin through south central or western Nebraska at
  anytime this week or next.
* at 6.0 feet...Minor flooding of rural lowlands occur.
