THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA
THROUGH TONIGHT. THE GREATEST THREAT WILL BE HEAVY RAINFALL WITH
A FEW LOCATIONS POSSIBLY SEEING IN EXCESS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES OF
RAIN. THE HEAVY RAIN MAY RESULT IN LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING OR
AREAS OF MINOR RIVER FLOODING. HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE ABOUT
ANYWHERE ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA...BUT THE GREATEST THREAT FOR
FLASH FLOODING WILL BE FOR AREAS NORTH AND EAST OF A LOUP CITY TO
HASTINGS LINE WHERE A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT DUE TO SOILS
BEING MORE SATURATED IN THESE NORTHEASTERN ZONES.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE THIS EVENING PRIMARILY
SOUTHWEST OF A LEXINGTON...MINDEN...BELOIT LINE. HAIL TO AROUND
THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND 60 MPH WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE
STRONGEST STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...
WITH THE THREAT AND AERIAL COVERAGE OF THUNDERSTORMS DECREASING
SIGNIFICANTLY BY FRIDAY. THE GREATEST PROBABILITY OF STORMS WILL BE
SOUTH AND EAST OF THE TRI-CITIES. SOME STORMS COULD BE SEVERE
THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING...WITH HAIL AS LARGE AS PING PONG
BALLS BEING THE MAIN THREAT.

SOME SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS COULD FORM ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
OUTLOOK AREA. HOWEVER...THIS POSSIBILITY IS HIGHLY UNCERTAIN. IF
STORMS DO DEVELOP...HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS WOULD BE THE
PRIMARY THREAT.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS MOST OF THE OUTLOOK AREA
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. HAIL AS LARGE AS TENNIS BALLS AND
DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS OF 70 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION FOR SEVERE STORMS MAY BE NEEDED LATE THIS
AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING...MOST LIKELY IN SOUTHWESTERN PORTIONS
OF THE OUTLOOK AREA. IN ADDITION...ANY REPORTS OF FLOODING OR
HEAVY RAINFALL IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
