THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

THERE IS A LOW CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA...PRIMARILY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 6. HAIL...PERHAPS
APPROACHING THE SIZE OF NICKELS...AND BRIEF THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
TO AROUND 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE SHOULD THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY BE
REALIZED OVERNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON...HEAT INDEX VALUES NEAR OR EXCEEDING 100 DEGREES
ARE FORECAST ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON...A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS RETURNS
TO NORTHWEST PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA...GENERALLY NORTHWEST
OF A LINE FROM SPALDING...TO KEARNEY...TO ARAPAHOE. THEN FRIDAY
EVENING INTO FRIDAY NIGHT...STORM CHANCES EXPAND TO INCLUDE THE
MAJORITY OF THE OUTLOOK AREA...BUT WITH THE HIGHEST CHANCES
FOCUSED NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80. SOME THUNDERSTORMS LATE FRIDAY
AFTERNOON INTO FRIDAY NIGHT COULD BE SEVERE...WITH THE MAIN
THREATS BEING HAIL TO AT LEAST QUARTER SIZE AND WIND GUSTS TO AT
LEAST 60 MPH. AREAS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80 ARE MOST FAVORED TO
OBSERVE POTENTIALLY SEVERE STORMS DURING THIS TIME...WHILE AREAS
FARTHER SOUTH...INCLUDING NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...APPEAR LESS AT
RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER.

FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH NEXT TUESDAY...VARIOUS CHANCES FOR
THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE FOR ALL...OR AT LEAST SOME PART OF THE
OUTLOOK AREA. ALTHOUGH ANY POTENTIAL RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL
BE FINE-TUNED IN LATER OUTLOOKS...IT CURRENTLY APPEARS AT LEAST
A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO
EVENING.
