356 AM CDT SAT MAY 28 2016

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

FLOODING ALONG COUNTY ROADS IS ONGOING IN FILLMORE AND THAYER
COUNTIES AS WELL AS GOSPER AND HARLAN COUNTIES THIS MORNING. AS
THE PRECIPITATION ENDS, THE FLOOD WATERS ARE EXPECTED RECEDE LATER
THIS MORNING.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND SOME THUNDER WILL EXIT FROM WEST TO EAST
THIS MORNING WITH ANOTHER CHANCE LATER THIS AFTERNOON OVER EASTERN
SECTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. THESE SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED TO BE STRONG OR SEVERE
THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND TONIGHT. HOWEVER, IF ANY PRECIPITATION
DEVELOPS AND LINGERS OVER AREAS SUCH AS FILLMORE AND THAYER
COUNTIES LATER TODAY THIS COULD AGGRAVATE SATURATED SOILS AND
FLOODING COULD AGAIN BE A PROBLEM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT...CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS REMAIN IN THE
FORECAST ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA...THOUGH THERE IS PLENTY OF
UNCERTAINTY WITH THE AREAL COVERAGE OF ACTIVITY. THERE WILL BE THE
POTENTIAL FOR SOME THUNDERSTORMS TO BE STRONG...WITH SMALL HAIL AND
GUSTY WINDS.

MEMORIAL DAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS WILL BRING THE
BEST CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA. THERE WILL
BE THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME TO BE SEVERE...MAINLY FOR LOCATIONS WEST
OF HIGHWAY 281. HAIL NEAR THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS NEAR
60 MPH WOULD BE THE PRIMARY HAZARDS.

LINGERING THUNDERSTORM CHANCES CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY.
AT THIS TIME...IT IS TOO EARLY TO CONFIDENTLY ASSESS THE POTENTIAL
FOR STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED TODAY AND TONIGHT.
