This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Overnight.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms overnight in northern
portions of the outlook area, mainly north of a line from Loup
City to Genoa. Severe weather is not anticipated.

Due to only limited overnight relief from the heat given that low
temperatures will only drop into the 70s, either an Excessive Heat
Warning or Heat Advisory remain in effect for the entire outlook
area. Please refer to the latest Warning and Advisory statements
for more details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Either an Excessive Heat Warning or a Heat Advisory remain in
effect for the entire outlook area through early Friday evening.
Heat index values will reach 102 to 109 degrees during the
afternoon through early evening hours both Thursday and Friday.
Please refer to the latest Warning and Advisory statement for more
details.

Chances for thunderstorms return to the area Thursday night
through Tuesday. A marginal risk of severe storms exists for
Friday afternoon into Friday night, especially for areas north of
Interstate 80.

Spotter activation should not be needed through tonight.
