This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Rain will continue to change to snow through this morning. A brief
period of freezing rain is also possible during the transition
from rain to snow. Northwest wind gusts of 40 to 55 MPH are
expected through this afternoon and evening, leading to poor
visibility at times.

The heaviest band of snow is expected to be near and west of a
line from Alma to Kearney to Greeley. A Blizzard Warning remains
in effect through tonight for these areas.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of the remaining
area for a combination of snow, light freezing rain, and strong
winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Wind chill values will fall below zero across much of Nebraska
Tuesday morning with readings as low as 10 degrees below zero
possible in spots primarily north of Interstate 80.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report snow amounts and impacts from
the winter storm.
