This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Patchy fog has developed along a west of a line from Ord to
Holdrege. This fog may be locally dense, reducing visibility to
around one quarter mile at times this morning.

Either an Excessive Heat Warning or a Heat Advisory is in effect
for the entire area this afternoon. Heat index values will reach
100 to 108 degrees. Please see the warning and advisory statements
for the latest information for your area.

A Flood Warning remains in effect for the Republican River across
Webster and western Nuckolls Counties. Please see the latest
Flood Warning statement for more information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

The Excessive Heat Warning continues through Friday mainly
southeast of a line from York, Nebraska to Phillipsburg, Kansas.
The heat index will climb to between 100 and 108 degrees in many
areas.

Chances for thunderstorms return to the area Thursday night
through Tuesday. A marginal risk of severe storms exists for
Friday afternoon into Friday night, especially for areas north of
Interstate 80.
