This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

There is a chance for thunderstorms across the area today and
into this evening. Flooding will continue into the morning hours
across portions of the area, mainly along and north of a line from
Loup City to Hastings to Osceola in Nebraska. This afternoon,
there could be some strong storms east of Highway 281. The primary
threats would be hail around the size of nickels and wind gusts
around 50 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms are expected across portions of
the outlook area through next Tuesday. At this time...the best
chance for more widespread activity appears to be Thursday night
through early Friday morning...with chances becoming more spotty
thereafter.

Spotter activation is not expected.
