THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR ALL OF SOUTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...OVERNIGHT.

THE MAJORITY OF THE AREA...WITH THE EXCEPTION OF COUNTIES ALONG
THE KANSAS BORDER...ARE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH THROUGH THE
REMAINDER OF THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THE MAIN HAZARD WITH STORMS
WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS UP TO AROUND 60 MPH...ALTHOUGH SOME
ISOLATED INSTANCES OF HAIL UP TO AROUND QUARTER SIZE CANNOT BE
RULED OUT EITHER. BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL COULD ALSO
MATERIALIZE...BUT MOST PLACES SHOULD AVERAGE WELL UNDER 1
INCH OF ACCUMULATION.

FLOOD WARNINGS OR ADVISORIES REMAIN IN EFFECT ALONG PORTIONS OF
THE PLATTE RIVER BETWEEN GOTHENBURG AND THE CENTRAL CITY AREA.
PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST FLOOD STATEMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE IN THE FORECAST WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY. SOME
SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE MOST LIKELY TIME FRAME BEING
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT. HAIL NEAR THE SIZE OF
GOLF BALLS AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS NEAR 60 MPH WOULD BE THE
PRIMARY THREATS...ALONG WITH HEAVY RAIN.

IN ADDITION...FLOOD WARNINGS OR ADVISORIES REMAIN IN EFFECT ALONG
PORTIONS OF THE PLATTE RIVER BETWEEN GOTHENBURG AND THE CENTRAL
CITY AREA. PLEASE REFER TO THE LATEST FLOOD STATEMENTS FOR
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED OVERNIGHT ON AT LEAST AN ISOLATED
