This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

An Excessive Heat Warning and Heat Advisory remain in effect
across portions of south central Nebraska and north central
Kansas, mainly long and southeast of a Geneva, NE to Phillipsburg,
KS line until 7pm this evening. Heat indices will generally be
between 100 and 105 in this area.

There is a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening mainly along and south of Interstate 80.
Some of these storms could have hail to ping pong ball size and
winds to 60 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

There is at least a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm or
two each day...but most locations will be quiet and dry. The best
chance for increased thunderstorm activity will be Wednesday and
Thursday...as a cool front sinks through the region. Some of these
storms could be severe.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening along
and south of Interstate 80.
