THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...EARLY THIS MORNING THROUGH TONIGHT.

THROUGH AROUND SUNRISE OR POSSIBLY A FEW HOURS
THEREAFTER...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE
GENERALLY WEST OF LINE FROM ORD...TO KEARNEY NEBRASKA...TO OSBORNE
KANSAS...WITH THE GREATEST COVERAGE FOCUSED GENERALLY WEST OF A
MINDEN NEBRASKA TO SMITH CENTER KANSAS LINE. A FEW STORMS MAY BE
STRONG TO SEVERE...WITH THE MAIN THREAT BEING HAIL UP TO AROUND
HALF DOLLAR SIZE...ALTHOUGH VERY LARGE HAIL TO AROUND BASEBALL
SIZE CANNOT BE RULED OUT.

ALTHOUGH A LULL IN THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED THROUGH MOST
OF THE DAY AND INTO THIS EVENING...THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE THAT
THE LATE NIGHT HOURS COULD BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF STORMS
PRIMARILY TO NEBRASKA LOCATIONS NORTHEAST OF A KEARNEY TO
SUPERIOR LINE. IF THIS DEVELOPMENT OCCURS...A FEW SEVERE STORMS
ARE AGAIN POSSIBLE...WITH HAIL UP TO AROUND HALF DOLLAR SIZE THE
MAIN THREAT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ON THURSDAY...AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM IS POSSIBLE IN THE MORNING
FOR LOCATIONS NORTHEAST OF A LINE FROM KEARNEY TO HEBRON NEBRASKA.
THURSDAY AFTERNOON...HEAT INDICES ARE FORECAST IN THE 100 TO 105
DEGREE RANGE WEST OF A LINE FROM LEXINGTON NEBRASKA TO OSBORNE
KANSAS.  AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM IS POSSIBLE AGAIN THURSDAY NIGHT.

ON FRIDAY...HEAT INDICES OF 100 TO 105 DEGREES ARE FORECAST ACROSS
NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND LOCATIONS IN NEBRASKA SOUTH OF A LINE FROM
ALMA TO YORK.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED ON AN ISOLATED BASIS THIS MORNING
IN WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA...AND MAYBE AGAIN LATE
TONIGHT GENERALLY WITHIN THE NORTHEAST HALF OF THE AREA.
