This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A few thunderstorms are possible this morning for portions of the
area. Severe weather is not expected this morning.

Thunderstorms are expected to redevelop this afternoon and
evening. Thunderstorms are possible for the entire outlook area.
There is a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms this
afternoon and evening, mainly to the north of Highway 6 in south
central Nebraska.

Low relative humidity and gusty south winds will create near
critical fire weather conditions this afternoon, along and to the
southwest of a line from Beaver City Nebraska to Beloit Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There are intermittent chances for thunderstorms through much of
the period. It is still too early to confidently evaluate severe
storm potential.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening.
