This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

After midnight tonight, thunderstorm chances will return to the
outlook area. If storms develop, there will be the potential for
a few to be on the strong side, mainly west of Highway 281. The
primary hazards would be hail near the size of nickels and wind
gusts near 50 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorm chances will linger into Tuesday morning, before
departing into eastern Nebraska by midday. Tuesday afternoon and
evening, an isolated storm or two could develop mainly east and
south of Hastings. Any storms that might occur in the afternoon
have a good chance of becoming severe, with large hail and
damaging winds the primary hazards.

Better thunderstorm chances will develop over the northern half
of Nebraska after midnight Tuesday night, affecting areas mainly
along and north of Interstate 80. These storms could linger into
the day Wednesday. Some storms could be severe with large hail
the primary hazard.

Wednesday afternoon and evening, there is a slight chance for
thunderstorms to develop along a passing cold front. These chances
could affect far southeastern portions of the outlook area,
mainly south of a Geneva, Nebraska to Osborne, Kansas line. If
these storm develop, severe weather would be possible, with large
hail and damaging wind gusts the primary hazards.
