This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

There is a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms tonight.
Should storms develop, there is a marginal risk of severe weather
with hail up to the size of quarters and wind gusts to 60 mph
being the primary potential hazards. Localized flooding is also

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

There is a chance for thunderstorms Monday afternoon, although
these are expected to hold off until after the solar eclipse.
Better chances for thunderstorms will arrive Monday evening and
overnight, some of which could be strong to marginally severe. A
few thunderstorms could linger into early Tuesday morning across
portions of north central Kansas.

Slight chances for thunderstorms return again on Friday, with
better chances arriving on Saturday.


Spotter activation may be needed this evening. Please pass along
any severe weather reports to the National Weather Service.
