Another band of rain and snow will develop over the Eastern Interior Tuesday morning and continue through the Tuesday evening. This will bring 2 to 4 inches of snow to higher elevations and along the Steese Highway north of Fairbanks. For valley locations including Fairbanks mostly rain is expected but there could be a change over to snow Tuesday evening. Little to no snow accumulation expected in valley locations. $$
