...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SUSQUEHANNA...
NORTHEASTERN LACKAWANNA AND WEST CENTRAL WAYNE COUNTIES THROUGH 945
AM EDT...

At 909 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Tompkinsville, or near Waverly, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Clifford, Forest City, Vandling, Union Dale, East Benton, Pleasant
Mount, Tompkinsville, Fleetville, Lenoxville, and Royal.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 197 and 206.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Conditions are favorable for the development of weak, brief funnel
clouds. This type of funnel cloud is harmless, but on rare occasions
they can briefly touch down, producing wind gusts over 50 mph. If a
funnel cloud is spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the
National Weather Service.
