.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Winds will gradually
decrease today with only elevated fire conditions
over southern Lincoln county.  Areas of light snow
will continue in the mountains.  Temperatures will
remain below normal.  For tonight, a cool front
will move across the plains.  Showers will increase
in the northern mountains and near the Wyoming border
after midnight.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday through Sunday...
Thursday and Friday will be cool and unsettled with showers
likely over the alpine areas and scattered showers over the
plains.  A few thunderstorms will accompany the showers.
Significant snowfall is not expected in the mountains.
Scattered late day showers and thunderstorms are forecast
for the weekend.  Temperatures will be below seasonal
normals Thursday and Friday, near normals on Saturday and
a bit above normals on Sunday.  Critical fire weather
conditions are not expected.
