...DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER TODAY AND TOMORROW...

.Warm, dry, and windy weather will create critical fire weather
conditions across much of the Colorado eastern plains this
afternoon and again Monday afternoon. Conditions will be worst on
the plains south of Interstate 70 where the strongest winds and
lower humidity are expected. From Denver northward and in the
mountains, it will be windy but humidities will be higher or fuels
are not as susceptible to ignition.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE PALMER
DIVIDE AND MUCH OF THE EASTERN PLAINS...

A Red Flag warning for wind and low relative humidity is in effect
this afternoon and evening. A Fire Weather Watch is now in effect
from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 241, 245, 246, 247 and 249.

* Timing...For the Red Flag Warning, 1 PM to 8 PM today. For the
  Fire Weather Watch, Noon to 8 PM Monday.

* Winds...Today, south 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. On
  Monday, south 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 8 percent.

* Impacts...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
  Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a
  spark and start a wildfire.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior. Heed local restrictions and
avoid outdoor activities that could produce sparks.

MONDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE
NORTHEAST COLORADO PLAINS...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Fire Weather
Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from
Monday afternoon through Monday evening.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 244, 248, 250 and 251.

* Timing...Noon to 8 PM MDT Monday.

* Winds...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 10 percent.

* Impacts...A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather
  conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts
  and possible Red Flag Warnings.
