Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
409 PM EDT Tue Apr 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...

...Dry Weather and Blustery Conditions Continue Today...

A cold front will bring another round of showers, with perhaps a
few thunderstorms on Wednesday. Wetting rainfall is likely
Wednesday. High pressure builds in again for Thursday with
slackening winds. Fire weather concerns for Thursday will rely
heavily on how quickly high pressure and light winds can build
over the region.

Minimum relative humidities will range between 45 and 60 percent
on Wednesday and 20 and 40% on Thursday.

.OUTLOOK...Thursday through Sunday...

High pressure keeps us dry as we head into Saturday, with
increasing chances for rain Saturday night and Sunday.
