...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LIVE OAK AND
SOUTHWESTERN BEE COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM CDT...

At 450 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Dinero, or 10 miles east of George West, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Beeville, Skidmore, Mount Lucas, River Creek Acres, and Dinero.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 37 between mile markers 43 and 57.
 US Highway 181 between mile markers 588 and 604.
 US Highway 59 between mile markers 696 and 718.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
