.DISCUSSION...

Good morning! It`s a bit of a tricky forecast regarding shower
and storm chances tonight and tomorrow in Athens (and north
Georgia overall). Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be
possible overnight after around 11 PM through mid-morning
tomorrow. Then, after around 2 PM, additional isolated showers and
thunderstorms will be possible through early evening. While
isolated, we do want to highlight the potential for storms to
bring heavy rainfall, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, gusty
winds greater than 40 mph. The temperature at 10 AM will be around
73, around 79 at noon, and peak around 85 during the mid/late
