...WARM TEMPERATURES WILL INCREASE RUNOFF FROM SNOW MELT AND
RIVER LEVELS THIS WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK...
Mostly sunny days and rising temperatures will lead to an increase
in snowmelt from the high mountains over the next few days.
Stream and river flows are expected to significantly rise by
this weekend with some rivers peaking early next week.
River flows will rise along the Upper Colorado River Basin with
most streams and rivers remaining just below bankfull. River
levels in Gore Creek and the Crystal River may reach bankfull by
early next week.
Caution is urged when walking near waterways. Avoid flooded areas and
