...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM MDT FOR WEST
CENTRAL RIO BLANCO COUNTY...

At 958 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Rangely.

This includes Colorado 139 between mile markers 57 and 71.

This includes the following streams and drainages...Cottonwood
Creek...Big Horse Draw...White River...Philadelphia Creek...North
Fork Texas Creek...Texas Creek and Douglas Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain.
Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a
matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.

Please report flooding to the Grand Junction National Weather Service
Office when you can do so safely.
