THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION  HAS ISSUED A

* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN MESA COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL COLORADO...

* UNTIL 715 PM MDT

* AT 414 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
  THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WESTERN MESA COUNTY. THESE STORMS WILL MOVE
  EAST AT 20 MPH. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING
  ACROSS MUCH OF THE GRAND VALLEY.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  GRAND JUNCTION...FRUITA...PALISADE...LOMA...REDLANDS...ORCHARD
  MESA...CAMEO...FRUITVALE AND CLIFTON. MUD AND ROCK SLIDES WILL BE
  POSSIBLE ALONG INTERSTATE 70 THROUGH THE DEBEQUE CANYON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS.

OFFICE WHEN YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.
