...THE ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
1130 AM MDT FOR SOUTHWESTERN MOFFAT AND NORTHERN UINTAH COUNTIES...

AT 1023 AM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN DUE
TO SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH UINTAH AND WESTERN
MOFFAT COUNTIES. THIS WILL CAUSE ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN
THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN IS ESTIMATED TO HAVE
FALLEN ALREADY.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
VERNAL...FORT DUCHESNE...WHITEROCKS...DINOSAUR...NAPLES...BALLARD...
MAESER...BLUE MOUNTAIN...ARTESIA AND RANDLETT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS...
HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
