The National Weather Service in Grand Junction  has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Southwestern Mesa County in west central Colorado...

* Until 715 PM MDT

* At 409 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Mesa
  County.

This includes Colorado 141 between mile markers 112 and 118.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
