...THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM MDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN MESA COUNTY...

AT 232 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN HAS ENDED OVER
THE ADVISED AREA. HOWEVER, THIS WILL CAUSE SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN
THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO ONE INCH OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES...LITTLE DOMINGUEZ
CREEK...BIG DOMINGUEZ CREEK AND THE NORTH FORK OF ESCALANTE CREEK
AND OTHER MINOR CREEKS IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE UNCOMPAHGRE
PLATEAU.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE
YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME
KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS AND HIKERS SHOULD AVOID STREAMS OR
CREEKS.

PLEASE REPORT FLOODING TO THE GRAND JUNCTION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
OFFICE WHEN YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.
