...THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM MDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN UINTAH AND SOUTHEASTERN DAGGETT COUNTIES...

AT 628 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
THUNDERSTORMS HAD ENDED OVER JONES HOLE CREEK. BUT INCREASED WATER
FLOW IS STILL LIKELY WORKING SOUTHEAST TOWARDS THE GREEN RIVER. THIS
WILL CAUSE SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.

THIS FLOODING WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF NORTHEASTERN
UINTAH AND SOUTHEASTERN DAGGETT COUNTIES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IN HILLY TERRAIN THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS WHICH ARE
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IN HEAVY RAIN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW INCHES OF
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATER TO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
