THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL BE ON THE INCREASE TODAY AS MONSOONAL
MOISTURE SURGES INTO THE EASTERN GREAT BASIN AND CENTRAL ROCKIES.
LIGHTNING WILL BE A THREAT TO OUTDOOR ACTIVITY AND FOR POTENTIAL
FIRE STARTS. GUSTY WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED NEAR STORMS TODAY AND
AS STORMS BECOME MORE ORGANIZED THIS AFTERNOON...BRIEF MODERATE
TO HEAVY RAINFALL COULD IMPACT DRIVING CONDITIONS AND INCREASE THE
CHANCES OF LOCALIZED MINOR FLOODING. STORMS COVERAGE SHOULD
DECREASE WITH SUNSET BUT ISOLATED STORM DEVELOPMENT WILL CONTINUE
TO BE A THREAT THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THIS SURGE OF MONSOON MOISTURE WILL BRING INCREASED SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ALONG WITH COOLER TEMPERATURES THROUGHOUT
THE COMING WEEK. BY MIDWEEK...SOME STORMS MAY BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING EXCESSIVE RAINFALL POSSIBLY LEADING TO LOCALIZED
FLOODING.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION COULD BE NEEDED OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS AND ANY
REPORTS OF STRONG WINDS OR RAINFALL IS APPRECIATED.
