A BROAD AREA OF SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS STRETCHING FROM
THE NORTHERN FLANKS OF THE GRAND MESA NORTHEASTWARD INTO THE
SOUTHERN WHITE RIVER NATIONAL FOREST WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY
ADVANCE TO THE NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE
CAPABLE OF GENERATING RAINFALL RATES APPROACHING THREE-QUARTERS OF
AN INCH PER HOUR ALONG WITH SMALL. THIS WILL MAKE DRIVING ALONG
THE I-70 CORRIDOR CHALLENGING FROM GLENWOOD SPRINGS TO EAGLE
THROUGH 11 PM.
