THE FOLLOWING ARE PRELIMINARY ESTIMATED STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS
FOR THE MOUNTAINS OF EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO AS OF 6 AM
TODAY, DECEMBER 26, AS ESTIMATED BY MOUNTAIN SNOTEL OBSERVATION
SITES.  THESE AMOUNT RANGES ARE FOR THE CURRENT STORM THAT BEGAN ON
CHRISTMAS DAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKED EASTWARD AND IS
CURRENTLY LOCATED OVER THE FOUR CORNERS AREA.  PERIODS OF SNOW WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THIS EVENING OVER MUCH OF THE REGION.  ONCE AGAIN
THESE ARE PRELIMINARY ESTIMATED SNOWFALL TOTALS SO FAR WITH THIS
STORM.

EASTERN UTAH MOUNTAINS:
EASTERN UINTAS: 3 TO 6 INCHES.
EASTERN TAVAPUTS: ABOUT 7 INCHES.
LA SALS: 9 TO 11 INCHES.
ABAJOS: 3 TO 4 INCHES.
NORTHWEST COLORADO MOUNTAINS:
ELKHEADS AND PARK RANGE: 7 TO 15 INCHES.
FLATTOPS: 7 TO 12 INCHES.
WEST CENTRAL COLORADO MOUNTAINS:
GRAND MESA: 12 TO 25 INCHES.
    GORE AND ELK MOUNTAINS: 3 TO 9 INCHES.
WEST ELK AND SAWATCH RANGE: 5 TO 10 INCHES,
         WITH 14 AT MCCLURE PASS AND 16 AT SCHOFIELD PASS.
SOUTHWEST COLORADO MOUNTAINS:
UNCOMPAGHRE PLATEAU: ABOUT 11 INCHES AT COLUMBINE PASS.
NORTHWEST SAN JUANS: 3 TO 7 INCHES.
SOUTHWEST SAN JUANS: 4 TO 12 INCHES.
