...STORM SYSTEM PRODUCING SOME SNOW OVER THE MOUNTAINS...

A STORM SYSTEM THAT BEGAN LATE YESTERDAY HAS PRODUCED SNOW FOR MANY
MOUNTAIN LOCATIONS OF EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO OVERNIGHT,
AND RAIN FOR MANY LOWER ELEVATIONS. THE FOLLOWING VALUES WERE
OBTAINED FROM AUTOMATED SENSORS AND ARE CONSIDERED ESTIMATED AND
PRELIMINARY.

NORTHERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS... TRACE AMOUNTS

CENTRAL COLORADO MOUNTAINS... 2 TO 4 INCHES

SOUTHERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS... 3 TO 10 INCHES, WITH 12 AT BEARTOWN

NORTHEAST UTAH MOUNTAINS... 3 TO 5 INCHES, WITH 13 AT HICKERSON

SOUTHEAST UTAH MOUNTAINS... 3 TO 6 INCHES

PERIODS OF SNOW SHOULD CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE DAY TODAY, BEFORE
TAPERING OFF FROM WEST TO EAST BEGINNING TONIGHT.
