TIED THE RECORD HIGH FOR JULY 22, LAST SET IN 1996.

AT HOVENWEEP NATIONAL MONUMENT, THE HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 102.  THIS
SET A NEW RECORD HIGH FOR THE DAY, BREAKING THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF
101, SET IN 2000.

IN WESTERN COLORADO,

AT RIDGWAY, THE HIGH WAS 95, SETTING A NEW RECORD HIGH FOR THE DAY,
BREAKING THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 93, SET IN 2003.
