.THUNDERSTORMS INCREASE TODAY AS MONSOON MOISTURE REPLACED THE
RECENT HOT AND DRY PERIOD. THUNDERSTORMS WILL INITIALLY CONTAIN

  AND STRONGER GUSTS POSSIBLE NEAR THUNDERSTORMS.

* HUMIDITY...20 TO 35 PERCENT IN THE VALLEYS. 35 TO 50 PERCENT IN
  THE MOUNTAINS.

* THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION FROM
  SOUTH TO NORTH WITH DRY LIGHTNING AND GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS THE
  PRIMARY THREATS. STORMS WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD AND
  ORGANIZED LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH INCREASING
  CHANCES OF WETTING RAINS AND GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS.

* IMPACTS...LIGHTNING MAY CAUSE NEW FIRE STARTS AND OUTFLOW
  WINDS MAY CAUSE CONTROL PROBLEMS ON ANY FIRES IN THE VICINITY
  OF THUNDERSTORMS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE EITHER OCCURRING NOW....OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF
STRONG WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AND WARM TEMPERATURES CAN
CONTRIBUTE TO EXTREME FIRE BEHAVIOR.
