FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER
SYNOPSIS.

WEATHER DISTURBANCES IN A FAST, AND MOIST NORTHWEST FLOW, WILL BRING
A GOOD CHANCE OF RAIN AND SNOW TO MUCH OF THE FORECAST AREA TODAY,
CONTINUING INTO TUESDAY. NUMEROUS WINTER WEATHER WARNINGS AND
ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN POSTED FOR SIGNIFICANT HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW
AND BLOWING SNOW, RESULTING IN HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. THE
WESTERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS WILL BE FAVORED WITH THE MOST SNOWFALL
FROM THIS MOIST PATTERN, WHILE SOUTHEAST UTAH AND THE VALLEYS OF
SOUTHWEST COLORADO WILL BE LESS FAVORED FOR PRECIPITATION. A RIDGE
OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING DRY WEATHER FOR WEDNESDAY, BEFORE THE
NEXT SYSTEM AFFECTS MAINLY THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL AREAS ON
CHRISTMAS DAY.
