FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER
SYNOPSIS.

UNSEASONABLY COOL TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN PLACE TODAY IN THE WAKE OF
A COLD FRONT THAT BROUGHT BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING
TO SOME NORTHERN COLORADO VALLEYS. SUNNY SKIES AND DRY CONDITIONS
WILL PREVAIL TODAY THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK FOR MOST AREAS.
TEMPERATURES WILL WARM BACK TO NEAR SEASONAL BY THE WEEKEND, AS
UPPER LEVEL WINDS TURN FROM THE NORTHWEST TO THE WEST. MOISTURE
LURKING TO OUR SOUTH, WILL FILTER INTO THE SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF THE
FORECAST AREA FOR THE WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK, BRINGING A
SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
MOUNTAINS.  MOISTURE WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA FROM THE
SOUTHWEST LATE NEXT WEEK, RESULTING IN AN INCREASE IN SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.
