FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER
SYNOPSIS.

HIGH PRESSURE OVER TEXAS WILL STEER MOISTURE FROM OLD TROPICAL
STORM, PAINE, INTO THE FORECAST AREA FROM THE SOUTHWEST TODAY. A
CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON,
ACROSS THE SOUTHERN FORECAST AREA.  THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS
WILL SPREAD NORTHWARDS, IMPACTING MOST OF THE FORECAST AREA BY
WEDNESDAY. NORTHEAST UTAH WILL BE LEAST AFFECTED BY THIS MOISTURE
AND THE CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION.  A STRONGER AND COLDER LOW PRESSURE
STORM SYSTEM WILL BE MOVING INTO THE REGION FROM THE WEST NORTHWEST
ON THURSDAY, BRINGING WINDY, WET, AND COOLER WEATHER FOR THURSDAY
AND FRIDAY.
