FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER
SYNOPSIS.

HAZY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA THIS MORNING,
DUE TO SMOKE FROM WILDFIRES IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. BREEZY
CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING WITH FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS ACROSS NORTHWEST COLORADO, AS A
DISTURBANCE MOVES ACROSS THE NORTHERN ROCKIES. MOISTURE WILL SLOWLY
FILTER INTO THE FOUR CORNERS REGION TODAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND,
RESULTING IN ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER
THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN HIGHER TERRAIN. TEMPERATURES WILL BE
RUNNING ABOVE NORMAL THROUGH THE WEEKEND. MONSOONAL MOISTURE LOOKS
TO INCREASE OVER THE REGION BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK WITH
INCREASING CHANCES OF SHOWERS AND STORMS AND RESULTING COOLER, NEAR
TO BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES.
