FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER
SYNOPSIS.

THE CLOCKWISE CIRCULATION AROUND HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OVER THE
SOUTHERN PLAINS, WILL MAINTAIN A FAIRLY MOIST SOUTHERLY FLOW ACROSS
THE FORECAST AREA. WEAK DISTURBANCES AND DAYTIME HEATING WILL
TRIGGER SHOWERS AND STORMS, MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
HOURS. SOME STORMS WILL PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. LOW PRESSURE
PASSING TO OUR NORTH ON SATURDAY WILL SHIFT THE UPPER LEVEL WINDS TO
A DRIER WESTERLY DIRECTION FOR THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL SLOWLY REDUCE
THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. DAYTIME
TEMPERATURES WILL BEGIN TO WARM IN RESPONSE TO THE DRIER AIR.
